This page explains how to delete your account on the DC Drive app, the driver app for DC Rides.

How to delete your DC Drive account

1. Open the DC Drive app and log in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under the account section, tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What happens when you delete your DC Drive account

Your driver account is deactivated immediately. You will no longer be able to log in to DC Drive, and your driver profile is no longer visible to riders or other users on the platform.

What data is deleted, and what is retained

Your driver profile information, including your name, contact details, uploaded documents (such as your driver's license), and vehicle information, is removed from active use immediately upon deletion.

Some information, such as your trip history, payout and bank account records, and other transaction data, may be retained for a limited period after deletion. This is necessary to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, and to resolve any outstanding disputes or support requests. This retained data is not used for any other purpose and is not accessible through the app once your account is deleted.
