You can request deletion of your DC Rides rider account at any time.
How to delete your account:
- Open the DC Rides app and sign in
- Go to Profile → Account Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account will be deactivated immediately and you will be signed out. This action cannot be undone from within the app.
What is deleted:
Your profile information (name, email, phone number, photo) is deleted and no longer accessible. You will immediately lose the ability to sign in or use the app with this account.
What is retained:
Records of completed rides and payment transactions are retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes, even after account deletion. Retained records are not linked to an active, accessible profile and are not used for any purpose beyond legal/financial recordkeeping.
